Handknit Traditional Irish Cardigan

The traditional Irish hand knit Cardigan is a favorite amongst the Irish. Our cardigan is produced in Donegal by local crafts people. Each cardigan is signed and authenticated by the knitter. Indeed you will not find a finer example of Irish knitwear anywhere. You have a choice of a women's Crew neck or a mans V - neck. Please note these hand made sweaters are woven tight. We suggest ordering a size larger than you normally would choose for the machine knit sweater. After all, you want room to fit a hearty helping of lamb stew and a pint of Guinness!

Sweater Sizing: Sweater measurements are taken across the chest area. You lay a sweater flat and with a tape measure you start 1" below where the sleeve meets the body and measure across. Multiply that measurement by 2 and you'll have your approximate size.
